Doctor GEY brings Henrietta's cells into lab. He and his assistant MARY have a experiment for Henrietta' s cells. After 48 hours, Henrietta's cell start spreading quickly. The cells grow doubling their numbers every 24 hours. The first immortal human cell was born named HELA. Henrietta does not know about her cells grow up at lab.When Henrietta finishes her first radium treatment at hospital, she goes back to life as usual.Henrietta does not want anybody knows she is sick. She keepes secret until she has to stay at her cousins' home and wait her husband for pick up her. She tells her cousins about she got a cancer at carnival.After two weeks later, she gets second radium treatment. Each time she finished her treatment, she felt very sick.
Eleven years later, the author saw Roland Pattilo who has been one student of Geogre Gey at The HELA control symposium, a medicine school in Atlanta. She told she wants to write a book about Henrietta and she also told the reason why she wants to do it. Pattilo gave a telephone number of Henrietta's daughter to the author. Then she called this number, Henrietta's daughter answered the phone. At first Deborah promised the author to talk her mother. When she called this number again, she denied saying anything about it. Deborah gave her father and brother's number to author. But when she called these number, they also did not want to talk about it.
Gey used Henrietta's cells for cancer research. He sent cells to different states and different researchers. At that time,Carrel grew immortal chicken heart cells was very popular in cell culture.
When Carrel died, the chicken heart become trash.Either way, the Henrietta's cells start growing, nobody paid attention to it at all.
Henrietta's health is not going well when she goes to hospital each time. She tells doctor she does not feel well, but the doctor does not have any way to clean up the pain. Henrietta's husband knows her wife was sick. Every day he take his wife to hospital for radium treatment. After Henrietta's 31 years birthday, she has to stay hospital and get a better cared for. Doctors try to ease her pain, the new tumor appear daily on her body. During she is at hospital, GEY visits her. GEY tells her about her immortal cells and that cell could help other people.Henrietta accepts it.
Impression:

Henrietta is a strong woman. She is never afraid of cancer even she knows her disease is getting worst.
Question: why did Henrietta's daughter deny to answer the question ?

Summary pages(1-33)
The author is interested in Herrietta Lacks who is given the first immortal human cell. When she first learn about Hela cells on biology class, her instructor tells that Herrietta Lack's cells are the most important thing that in medicine.
The author consults a lot of magazines and articles about Herrietta Lack's family and Herrietta. She decides to write a book about Herrietta lack. This book is not only write cells in science; it also writes Herrietta's life.
The author meets Herrietta's daughter, she provides more true stories to author. This book is the result.
Herrietta finds herself does not feel right and her husband takes her to see a doctor. A doctor identifys she gets cervix canner.
When Herritta's mother died,her father does not want to take care of his tenth children. He sends them to his relatives.Herrietta is adopted by her grandfather,Tommy when she was four years old.Tommy also adopted a child who named David and he was 5 years older than Herritta.
Tommy has a field that plant tobaccos.Herrietta and David are in the field with their cousins when they are out of school.
As they grow older, Herrietta married with David. When Herrietta was 14 years old, she had the first baby.
When world war11 came, David follows his cousin to work on Tunner Station. Later, Herrietta moves to Tunner Station.
Herrietta goes to Hopins hospital. Doctors diagnosis that she gets cervix canner.
Doctors think about how to treat her disease. They cut two parts of cell from her body. One is from her tumor's cell, other one is from healthy cervical tissue. They start do a lot of experiments from her cells.
Impression:
Herritta's event reminds me about my uncle. He was died stomach cancer.
At that time, i saw he was tortured by this disease. The whole body lost a lot of weight.
Until he died, he did not feel a little bit happy. So i think we should protect our body,
we should have good habits of living. At least, we are not sorry for ourself.
Question:
How did Herrietta feel when she know she get cervix canner?

How does woman prevent this disease?
